We stayed here this weekend. I really enjoyed my stay and I will definitely return and recommend this campground.
This will be my 37th year at River Road, and I still cannot wait for Friday, every week , to get to camp!

Just the best people and place around. My "Happy Place"!
I've been going sense I was very little every year I can't wait to go. The owners are really nice. There's a cute little store where you can buy snacks, supplies anything you need! They do fun things such as dances, bingo, bonfires etc. There's a pool but for me I prefer the Hudson river the campground sits on. This place has always brought me joy, happiness and made me enjoy nature even more.
Rented one of the cabins. The owners neglected to let us know there was a serious mouse problem. We would go out for the day and come back to our pillows covered in mouse droppings. The owners were an interesting bunch. The husband was a nice enough guy but the wife was absolutely horrible. Anybody under the age of 30 should steer clear of this place as the owners and regulars that come here are not at all friendly to younger people.
